Not only as a body of believers, but as Christians and disciples we are to Gather in his name.

What does the bible say about gathering

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Matthew 18:20

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as your see the Day drawing near."

Hebrews 10:24-25

How are we currently Gathering?

We have many opportunities to gather in our church. On Sundays, we have Sunday School classes from newborn to 99 and then we have Sunday Services. On Wednesdays, we have Grove Kids and Adult Bible Study, which is currently working on Cultivating Evangelism. As well as the many community outreach events we enjoy doing.

Gather Events

Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

Cultivating Evangelism

To begin the 2019 year the Adult Bible Study will be going through "Evangelism Training". In our Christian faith Evangelism is the commitment to tell the world of the Lord we serve and the love of Jesus Christ.

Come join us in this learning experience at 6 pm on Wednesdays!!!

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?

And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

Isaiah 6:8

Trunk or Treat 2019

Every October at Pleasant Grove, as church everyone gets together in the parking lot to have a Trunk or Treat. This is a fun a festive way to celebrate fall in a safe, fun and loving environment. We had several church members decorate their cars, dress in cool costumes and hand out candy (with games) to help share the gospel with our community, but also to gather as a community of believers. PGBC is so grateful for everyone that came out and we loved seeing all the creative and colorful costumes that the kiddos this year wore. PGBC is blessed to have the opportunity to get to enjoy spending time with our neighbors in Conway, AR.

Matthew 22:36-40 (NIV) “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Christmas Pageant

On December 23, Grove Kids performed a musical storytelling of the night of Jesus's Birth and the journey to Bethlehem. In celebration of the marvelous birth of Jesus, in a little manger, many nights ago- Grove Kids sang praises and acted out scenes telling the story.

First we learn about the Angels that told Mary that she would have a Son and about the long journey Mary and Joseph went on to Bethlehem. Along the way we also learn about the innkeepers and the shepherds that get to join in on the occasion. We can't forget the three wise-men that came bearing gifts for the newborn King. In Grove Kids version we also got to see a star with some pretty awesome dance moves.

Pleasant Grove is so thankful for the kids and adults that made this joyous morning possible and for all the hard work put into the Christmas Pageant. This is just another way that we can gather at Pleasant Grove to celebrate this most joyous occasion.
