Lead pastor:

Will Overstreet

In August of 2018, Pastor Will and his wife Melissa moved to Conway, AR and officially became members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Will as our Lead Pastor. Will has experience in both Student Ministry and being a Lead Pastor, serving in churches in Alabama and Mississippi.

He has a passion for the local church and has a desire to see people follow and become more like Jesus. His favorite verse is John 15:5, "I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me".

Pastor Will not only loves Jesus, but also loves sports, especially the Ole Miss Rebels and the Chicago Cubs. These are not his only hobbies his other favorites are spending time with his wife Melissa, playing golf and camping.

Youth ministry Intern:

Garrett hall

In August of 2019 Garrett joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church as our Youth Ministry Intern. He served at First Baptist Church Galena in Galena, Kansas during the summer of 2019, as their ministry intern. He is currently a Sophomore at Central Baptist College, majoring in Bible with a minor in pastoral studies.

Garrett has a passion for preaching the Word and ministering to Youth. His favorite verse is Mark 10:45 , "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

When he is not spending time preaching the Word of God, he loves sports, especially the Oklahoma Sooners, St. Louis Cardinals, golf and ping pong.

Music ministry intern:

Zach Ferrell

Please keep Zach in your prayers as he has now graduated and going in view of a call at a church in Texas to be their Worship Leader.

Zach moved to Conway, AR to attend college at Central Baptist College, and joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in March of 2019 as our Music Ministry Intern.

He is currently a senior at CBC, where he is a Bible major, minoring in Worship Arts. Zach has a love for for leading the church in worship as a response to God's love for us-to see the church revived and Christ glorified through that revival.

Brother Ferrell has served in worship ministry since the age of twelve and has personally written thirty songs and prays that they glorify God. His favorite verse is Romans 6:10-11, "For the death he died, he died to sin once for all time; but the life he lives, he lives to God. So, you too consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus". 

When he's not leading worship at Pleasant Grove, he loves playing music, running and watching the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.
